The price of a used shipping container can vary depending on several factors, such as the container’s age, condition, and location. Please note the 40ft High Cube Shipping Container is more expensive, but you are getting more storage room!
It is advised to consult with your local city municipality if you are looking to purchase containers for a city area to build a home or ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit).
Delivery Costs
In addition to the cost of the container itself, you’ll need to account for delivery fees. Depending on the distance from the depot to your location and the preferred delivery service you choose, delivery costs can add up. Both the 40ft HC and the 40ft will use the same size trailer or flatbed.
